Snipping Tool: VISTA and Windows 7 have a sophisticated screen capture tool accessible from the programs list under Accessories. Open it, drag your cursor over the area you want to snip and a window appears with your image. You can add annotations, save it as a .jpg or send it to someone as an email attachment.

Right Mouse Click: Click the right hand mouse button while pointing to an object or word in Microsoft Office programs and you will get a contextual menu of whatever you can do with that object

Save Ink: Set your printer default to "draft" or "fast" mode. Then temporarily change it to "high" or "standard" only when you need to print a final version of something.

Rebooting: The first and fastest way to solve many random computer behavior problems is to reboot your computer.  For whatever reason, over the course of a day or night while your computer is on mysterious gremlins build up inside. Rebooting wipes the slate clean.

Getting Back to a the Home Page: With a few clicks it is easy to get deep into a website, but often there is not an obvious link back to the site’s home page. Try clicking the organization’s logo usually found at the upper left corner of all pages. Hover your cursor over the logo. In all likelihood it will turn to the pointing finger link symbol.

Key Shortcuts: Tired of your mouse? Here are a few keyboard shortcuts that get the job done faster.  Use the "Control" key for a PC and "Command" key for the Mac

Save Ctrl – S
Undo Ctrl – Z
